SideQuest Sweden is a vibrant mobile gaming company based in Sundsvall, Sweden, founded by a group of dedicated gamers with a passion for creating unforgettable gaming experiences. Established in 2020, our mission is to bring unique and entertaining games to players around the world, with a focus on social gaming that combines immersive design, exciting gameplay, and interactive social features.

The journey of SideQuest Sweden began in 2017, when Tomas and Björn met at a local hackathon centered on community service projects. The two connected over a shared love for gaming, and as they collaborated on various projects, they envisioned building a company that could bring their game ideas to life. Their team soon expanded to include Andreas and William, colleagues of Björn, who shared a similar enthusiasm for game development.

Together, they formally launched SideQuest Sweden.As members of the Mid-Sweden Games Cluster, we’re committed to innovation and creativity, continuously pushing the boundaries of mobile gaming. Mid-Sweden Games is now an officially registered organization with several member companies, all aiming to strengthen and grow the regional gaming industry. Registered as a separate trademark, Mid-Sweden Games gives a cohesive brand to represent the cluster when pitching internationally, helping to spotlight the rich talent and innovation emerging from this part of Sweden.

At SideQuest Sweden, our approach emphasizes a strong "core-loop" that keeps players engaged, while also prioritizing social interaction to enrich the gaming experience. We are proud to have exciting titles like Around the Word and Paintar in development, which exemplifies our mission to merge fun with challenge in ways that captivate players of all ages.
